Strategies for Writing of CET-4

分析了短文写作在大学英语四级考试中的重要地位,指出在平时的英语教学中,教师对学生英语短文写作部分缺乏系统指导,是英文写作成为很多学生英语学习的弱项的原因,提出了从短文写作中的三大要素---词汇、句子、段落结构入手,加强学生四级写作能力的有效策略。

Essay writing is one of the most important English abilities of the students. However, in the daily components in CET-4, which can reflect comprehensive English teaching process, owing to limit class hours and busy teaching schedule, teachers seldom give students systematic direction and adequate training about English essay writing. Therefore, it has become the weak point of many students; moreover, they would feel much harder to compose a satisfactory writing within thirty minutes in CET-4. The three main elements of essay writing---words, sentences and paragraphs to analyze essay writing of CET-4 are discussed and the effective strategies accordingly are put forward.
