Study and Practice of Optimizing Short Stroke Control of Strip Hot Rolling

摘要 短行程控制是热轧粗轧调宽过程中改善带钢端部形状、减少成材率损失的主要方法,而宝钢某热轧机组采用的传统的折线式短行程控制效果较差。采用刚塑性有限元法建立了立轧/平轧三维热应力耦合有限元模型,对粗轧机组轧制过程进行了全过程模拟,模拟结果得到实物验证。根据有限元模拟得到的带钢头尾失宽曲线,运用多项式插值原理,建立了短行程多项式模型,实际使用后提高了轧线成材率。 Short Stroke Control(SSC) is the main method to optimize the shape of strip ends and reduce metal loss in hot roughing, but the traditional broken line SSC model was not effective enongh at Baosteel. A 3D thermal-mechanical coupling Finite Element Method (FEM) model for edging and horizontal rolling was established, and used to investigate the total roughing process, the results were validated by practice. Using polynomial theory, a polynomial SSC model was established according to the curves of width deviation of the strip head and tail through FEM simulation, the production results showed that the yield has been largely improved since adoption of this model.
