成都2～18岁儿童少年体质指数现况调查

Research on body mass index of children aged 2～18 years in Chengdu

目的:调查成都城区2～18岁儿童少年体质指数分布趋势以及超重、肥胖流行状况。方法:分别采用中国WGOC标准、国际肥胖工作组IOTF标准和美国CDC2000标准对成都市城区10520名2～18岁儿童少年体质指数进行评价。结果:成都城区儿童少年超重率及肥胖率分别为男9.6、5.2,女7.1、2.3(WGOC标准);男9.5、2.8,女7.1、1.1(IOTF标准);男8.0、5.7,女6.0、2.1(CDC2000标准),男生肥胖率普遍>女生,BMI均呈先缓慢下降,后迅速回升趋势,肥胖-超重比女生>男生,均大于可接受水平。结论:成都城区儿童少年处于肥胖流行早期阶段,发生肥胖潜在危险性高,并呈上升趋势,应引起足够重视并采取早期预防措施。

Objective： To investigate the rate of obesity and the trend of body mass index （BMI） among pre -school children in Chengdu. Methods： 10 530 children aged 2 - 18 years were tested and the BMI evaluation was performed in those data according to recommendation by Chinese working group on obesity for children （WGOC）, the international obesity task force reference （IOTF） and the US 2000 CDC growth chart. Results： The prevalence of overweight and obesity were 9. 6% and 5. 2% （male）, 7. 1% and 2. 3% （female） based on WGOC criteria; 9. 5% and 2. 8% （ male）, 7. 1% and 1. 1% （female） based on IOTF criteria; 8. 0% and 5. 7% （male）, 6. 0% and 2. 1% （female） based on CDC2000 criteria. The rate of obesity in boys was higher than that in girls. The trend of BMI descended slowly at first and went up back then. The obesity - overweight ratio was higher in girls than that in boys. Conclusion： The prevalence of children obesity in Chengdu is on early phase, but the potential risk to obesity is very high. Preventing obesity requires consistent efforts.
