An intelligent reactive power automatic compensating controller based on DSP was introduced. Hardware configuration, software design, detection method and control algorithm of the controller was expounded in detail. Making use of peripheral components and calculating capability of TMS320F28015, the circuit has simple structure, high reliablity and good cost performance.
