传统译论中翻译标准的核心问题是"信"或"忠实",都是以原文/作者为中心,强调译作/译者对原文/作者的绝对忠实,显出较明显的理想主义色彩。女性主义翻译理论从性别角度关注翻译,探讨翻译标准中流露出的对女性的歧视,提出了另类的女性主义忠实标准,在翻译理论和实践中发出了女性的声音。
