Zhao Fan and the Movement to Protect the Constitution

护法运动期间,赵藩凭借着清末时所获得的政治资本和声望,以及广泛的人脉资源而在其间扮演着重要角色,其对唐继尧的护法则经历了一个从积极拥护到离异的过程,而决定其态度转向的主要因素并不是谁更具有正义性,而是人际脉络的亲疏远近。

In the Movement to Protect the Constitution, Zhao Fan, due to his political reputation gained in the late Qing Dynasty and extensive interpersonal relationships, played an important role. His attitudes towards Tang Ji-yao changed from active support to diverge from him. The main factor affecting the shift of attitudes is not a matter of justice or injustice but the degree of familiarity between interpersonal relationships.
