The background music, as an accessory medical method, was specifically effective in treating disease and for patients to rehabilitate. It was shown from the research that the background music can adjust the physiological function of respiration, circulation and endocrine system, reduce the intensity of dread, anxiety and loneliness status, can also harmonize the relationship between medical staff and patients. The background mu- sic can provide the ideal surgical environment to transfer patient~ attention so that it can improve the psychosis of the patients, alleviate post - operational pain, ease the strain and stabilize the heart rate and blood pressure, ultimately increase the success rate of surgery.
