Upon Tao Xing-zhi's Thoughts on Community-style Vocational Education in the Rural Area and the Reform of Such Area in Jinhua,Zhejiang Province

参照陶行知社区型农村职教思想,将浙江省金华市农村划为一个个社区,在农村开展大量职业及终身教育活动,充分利用高校及各类职业教育学校的资源,把学校与农村社区结合起来,按社区的需求办学;反过来也充分利用农村社区资源为教育服务,并使学校成为社区的中心,发挥其辐射功能,加快建立新形势下富裕和谐的新农村。

This paper discusses the implication of Tao Xing- zhi＇s thoughts on community- style vocational education in rural area. The author proposes that we can divide the rural area in Jinhua into communities, and carry out various vocational training and life - time education for the residents there. In this way, we can make the best of the resources available from local universities and vocational and technical schools, and provide the training that is really wanted by the farmers through close coordination with the development of schools and rural societies. While at the same time, the resources from the rural communities can also serve the development of education, and thus make schools and universities the center of these communities, and help building a well - off, harmonious new countryside.
