Liu Shaoqi's main contribution to the trade union theory during the initial period of PRC

新中国成立初期,刘少奇对新时期工会理论进行了可贵的探索。他论证了工会存在的客观性和必要性,提出依靠工人阶级首先必须依靠工会,工会要成为连结党、政府与工人群众的桥梁和纽带,工会应维护工人阶级利益,工会应加强对工人的思想政治教育等重要理论,并论证了按照产业界线组织工会的基本原则。他对新中国工会理论建设作出了重要贡献。

during the initial period of PRC, Liu Shaoqi carried on the valuable exploration to the new- time trade union theory. He proved the objectivity and the necessity of the trade union＇s existence and proposed the theory that depending upon the working class first depends upon the trade union, which must become the bridge and the link to connect the CCP, the government and working manses, that trade union should maintain the benefit of working class and strengthen the ideological and political education to workers, and so on. He also proved the basic principle to organize trade union according to the industrial field line. He made the significant contributions to the new Chinese Trade Union theory construction.
