魏晋文学中的死亡想象是一种特殊的表情方式,作者借悲伤的歌诗艺术而实现情感净化与自我慰藉。它沿曹植—陆机—陶渊明的大致走向而展开,渐次深入作者的心灵世界,既呼应了此期尚悲的社会风习,也无形中加速了对建安风骨的背离。
In the literature of the Wei and Jin dynasties, death imagination, which mostly appears in elegies, is frequently employed by writers for emotion purifying and spiritual self-consoling. In that period, death imagination was developed mainly by Cao Zhi, Lu Ji and Tao Yuanming, and thus found its due place in those great minds. The literary practice of death imagination was in accordance with the contemporary taste of "sorrow" and indicated a subtle distancing from the "vigorous" style characteristic of the Jian'an Age literature.
