Marx＇s theory of a harmonious society is an important part of the Marxist theory, has an important theoretical and practical significance on building a harmonious socialist society. This article focused on three questions： First,the basie principle of building harmonious socialist society is revealed by expounding Marx＇s harmonious thinking between man and nature, man and society, and among people. Secondly ,the target on value of building a harmonious socialist society is pointed out by expounding Marx＇sthinking of which the development everyone＇s all - round and freedom is the ultimate goal of a harmonious society. Thirdly,the basic condition for building a harmonious socialist society is revealed by expounding Marx＇s thinking of the high development level of productivity is ＂absolutely essential prerequisite ＂ for the future harmonious society.
