A Study of Contemporary College Students’ Participation in Politics in Terms of their Principal Role

政治参与是国家赋予公民的基本政治权利,作为在政治活动中具有特定主体地位的当代大学生的政治参与具有多样性和矛盾性的特点。这种矛盾性既是社会发展和学生主体认识的综合结果,又是学生自身认识、行为特殊性的表现。

Participation in politics is a basic political right prescribed by the law, and the participation of college students, who play a principal role in political activities, is diverse and contradictory. The contradictory feature is the result from the social development combined with the awareness of their role. In addition, it is a manifestation of their self-knowledge and special behaviors.
