The main factors include the physical property of the dispersed phase and continue phase, the selection of coalescence media. This paper introduces the popular equipments that be widely used in liquid-liquid separation application, there are three kinds of separation equipment： single-stage eoaleseer, two-stage eoalescer and separator, and three-stage filtration-coalescence-separator. This paper can provide the guidance for the dispersed phase and the continue phase separation in the practical application, and also provide the most economic and effective way to resolve the problem of liquid-liquid separation.
