A New Kind of the Setting Method for the Medium Relays to Be Turned on and off Alternately

The setting method for the medium relays to be turned on and off alternately is a new kind of setting method in the step control circuit. By means of this setting method employed, the numbers of the medium relays required are about a half of all step numbers in a work cycle of the control circuit. So that the medium relays required are less in number and thus the control circuits designed are lower in cost. This paper describes the concept, the application and effect of setting method of turning on and off alternately in detail by a design example for the step control circuit with five step programs.
