摘要
聚乙烯(PE)管道广泛应用于城市燃气输送。接头焊接质量直接影响接头的力学性能。笔者在电熔焊接接头检测中首次发现接头内部存在一条由微小气泡造成的特征线,此特征线与电阻丝之间的距离与接头的焊接程度有明确的对应关系。在此基础上,提出一种全新的接头焊接超声检测表征方法。试验表明,该方法可以有效应用于聚乙烯管道焊接工艺研究和接头冷焊和过焊的质量检测。
Polyethylene(PE) pipe was widely used in the gas distribution networks. Cold welding and over-heat welding could infect directly the mechanics performance of joint of PE pipes. It was discovered that there was an Eigen-line in the electro-fusion(EF) joint of PE pipes due to a great amount of separated micro-bubbles, and the distance between the line and heating wires could be used to measure the degree of welding. Furthermore, a unique method was developed to detect the degree of welding. A set of experiments showed that the method could be used in the research of welding procedure, and cold welding and over-heat welding quality inspection.
