本文纠正了《华夏考古》2004年第3期陈英杰先生《记新发现的〈故大唐董府君墓志铭〉》一文的错误,补充考释了董弘义墓志铭的史学价值。

This paper revises the mistakes in the paper of ＂the new recovered Dong Hongyi epitaph of Tang Dynasty＂, which was written by Chen Yingjie and published in the magazine of Huaxia Archaeology 3 （2004） . The paper also studies the epitaph＇ s historical value.
