摘要
日语动物词语具有丰富的国俗语义，是认识日本民族历史文化、民情风俗和精神世界的重要途径之一。日语动物词语国俗语义的产生是有一定理据性的，主要有：功用理据、相似理据、象征理据等。而日语动物词语体现的国俗语义镜像主要有：地理环境（岛国——海的民族）、万物有灵与图腾信仰、民族认知心理等。
Animal words in Japanese have rich ethno-specified meanings and are a most special part of Japanese ＂cuhural words＂. These words are an important avenue to understand Japan＇s history and culture, folk customs and spiritual world. The production of the ethno-specified meanings of Japanese animal words has certain motivations, mainly including function motivation, similarity motivation and symbolic motivation. The principal mirror images of ethno-specified meanings embodied by Japanese animal words are geographical environment （island country-maritime nation） , animism, totem worship and ethnical cognitive psychology.
