家庭暴力的产生不仅仅是因为特定个人、特定家庭的原因,而是有其深厚的社会文化传统的原因,这个原因从社会性别视角来看,就是一个由男权文化和夫权思想所制造出来的不平等的社会性别关系的存在。如果把家庭暴力的深层原因,停留在社会变迁、社会宽容、人的素质低下和女性自身的软弱,而不去进行更深层次的反省,反而会遮蔽家庭暴力产生的根源,不利于彻底去除家庭暴力这一破坏家庭平安、社会和谐的毒瘤。
