A Mythic and Archetypal Approach to Jangar

卫拉特蒙古的《江格尔》是我国三大史诗之一,本文运用西方批评理论中的神话原型理论解读《江格尔》,作品所反映的原始意象印证了神话原型理论,反映了东西方文化的相通性。

Jangar is one of the three major epics in China. It is billed as an encyclopedia of ancient Oirat people and is of great literary value. Myth and Archetypal Criticism is employed to highlight the significance of Jangar. It is argued that the myths and archetypes in Jangar act as justifications for the literary theory and mirror the similarities between the oriental and occidental cultures.
