Integrating humanistic spirit into medical education to harmonize relationship between health providers and clients

新的医学模式要求医学教育中必须融入人文精神,把人文教育的理念载入并渗透到学习中,使学生树立以人为本的价值观和救死扶伤的职业观,培养医学生高度的责任感和同情心,使之能与广大患者的实际需求相适应,成为医德高尚、医术精湛、具备丰富人文精神内涵的合格医学人才。

The new medical model requires integration of the human spirit into the medical education, namely, that human concept will be emphasized throughout the learning process and students will be cultivated to have the people-oriented value and the professional ethnic to help the sick and the wound with a high sense of responsibility and compassion. As the result of it, the future health workers will meet patients＇ needs and become qualified medical professionals characterized not only by high skills and moral standard but by high humanistic spirit.
