电视剧传播对性别现代性的建构有着重要的作用，因此从传播、性别视角切入现代性问题将会促使人们更深层次地理解正视新的社会文化语境下女性所遭遇的性别困境和角色认同危机，以及性别现代性建构的重要性和迫切性。而电视剧《中国式离婚》通过男女主人公婚姻的破裂，从性别角度反映了现代性话语中的有关自由与责任、平等与差异、理性与宽容、权利与义务、理解与信任等种种问题。

In the process of modernization in China, teleplay communication plays an important role in the construction of sex modernity. The teleplay Chinese-Styled Divorce reflects from one angle the fierce conflict in modernity, such as freedom and responsibility; equality and difference; rationality and tolerance; right and obligation; understanding and trust etc, by way of telling us a story about a broken family, a disjoint marriage, and a complicated emotion between the couple. So researching modernity from communication and sex aspects will provide a deeper understanding and a serious attitude toward the sex puzzledom and the role identity crisis which female faces, and toward the importance and impendency of constructing sex modernity.
