On the Analysis of Kuhn’s Incommensurability

Incommensurability plays a very important role in Kuhn＇s scientific philosophy. To Kuhn＇s understanding, incommensurability is non-translatability between the paradigm and theory. The main points include that there is no common evaluation criteria among different paradigms, that even same concepts and terms have been employed, there have been great changes in their meaning and relationship before and after the scientific revolution, and that people who are in favor different paradigm have different stand points and world outlook.
