摘要
为获得更高的GPS定位数据压缩比和压缩速度,提出一种在民用定位服务(LBS)领域GPS精度范围内的准无损压缩算法.考虑GPS定位数据的特点,通过压缩预处理、二次量化去除冗余信息,通过预测编码提高编码效率.与其他算法相比,该算法可获得更高的压缩比和压缩速度,并可滤除GPS模块由于干扰而产生的粗大误差,提高GPS信息处理精度.该算法经过优化后对硬件要求很低,可在单片机上运行.
A quasi-lossless compression algorithm for the global positioning systems' (GPS) data in GPS precision was developed for civil location-based service (LBS) to achieve high compression ratio and speed. Compression pretreatment and second quantification methods were used to remove redundancy by analyzing the characteristics of GPS data, and predictive coding was used to remove correlation and improve coding efficiency. Compared with other algorithms, the proposed algorithm has higher compression ratio and speed, which can also filter out gross error caused by GPS jamming, and therefore the GPS data processing accuracy is improved. The proposed algorithm is optimized to become simple and demand less hardware resources. The resultant coding in 16-bit microprocessor is demonstrated to have good compression ratio and fast coding speed.
