通过对"还"探源,找出其源义素并充分发掘其语源义特点,以说明其对"还"由古及今的各个义位的统领价值;进而勾勒出"还"的语义虚化环链——以"返"和"回"为起点构成两大语义引申系列,各系列内部又有分支而呈现出链状的多层级网络结构。在此基础上探讨了其虚化路径。

In order to explain the commanding effect of ofHai＇s etymeme which can govern all the glossemets of all times, the thesis probes the origin of hai＇s semantic system to find out its etymeme whose semantical traits are fully excavated, so that we can draw the outline of the semantical evolvement chains,which form two main series based on the starting points of Fan and Hui, and seems like a huge network full of layers containing its internal embranchments. After these researches, we discuss Hai＇s semantical evolvement path.
