Thoughts on Conducting Demonstration Practice in Model Colleges

示范院校工作共分遴选、建设和示范三个环节,许多示范院校往往在前两个环节上投入很大精力和热情,而对于示范工作却较易产生松懈思想,缺乏责任意识。为此,各示范院校应明确示范的目的性,强调示范的广泛性,注意示范的针对性,并建立能上能下的竞争机制,发挥相关方的主体作用,采取多种方式促进示范工作。

The practice of model colleges is composed of three steps： selection, construction and demonstration. Many colleges spent a large number of energy and passion on the first two steps, while laid less emphasis on the demonstration and are unaware of their responsibility. Thus the model colleges should determine the purpose of demonstration, stress their universality and pay attention to its pertinence. In addition, the competitive mechanism providing both promotion and demotion chances should be established to play the important role of relevant bodies and boost demonstration practice by various means.
