北村皈依前的作品透露出一种对存在真相的苦苦找寻,可以用三个关键词来概括:真、找、死。北村渴望自救,但怀疑一切和对精神洁净的过分苛求使得他的人生只能在神造的虚幻中得到解脱,从而最终走向皈依。
In his works before his conversion, Beicun revealed his hard exploration for the realistic truth, which can be concluded by three words： truth, exploration and death. Beicun yearned for self-rescue, but his overskeptical attitude and over-critical pursuit for the spiritual purity could only release himself in the God-created illusion, which finally converted him to Christianity.
