Chinese Antismuggling Police's 10-Year Anniversary Coming

上世纪90年代，走私猖獗，关税流失，国家利益被盘剥，民族工业受摧残。缉私警察临危组建。

China established an Antismuggling Police Force on 5 January 1999.The special task force, administered by the General Administration of Customs of China(GACC) and the Ministry of Public Security(MPS), was authorized to investigate smuggling cases, arrest suspected smugglers and conduct preliminary hearings.The Smuggling Cases Investigation Bureau under the GACC was committed to implement the tasks.The force has played an important role in China's campaign against rampant smuggling during the last 10 years.Off icers engaged in the campaign have been trying their best to enforce laws in a just and fair manner.Their activities have protected normal import and export operations for the country and have prevented losses of customs tariffs.
