英语报刊选读课是针对英语专业高年级学生,旨在进一步提高英语水平而开设的。通过英语报刊这个途径,可以扩大学生阅读范围,培养独立思考、把握重点的能力。然而,在教学过程中可能会出现重点偏移的情况。文章从三方面论述了达到理想教学目的的途径。

The course of Selective Readings in English Print News Media is set up for the senior English majors to improve their study. Through the course, students can broaden the reading, and develop the ability of independent thinking and focusing. However, there are a few mistakes during the process of teaching and learning. The thesis analyzes the way to achieve the expected teaching aim from three aspects.
