"秋菊落英"之"落"字之争久矣,文章通过对历代主要关于楚辞注解方面的著作进行对比分析,对主要工具书作探究,参照先秦时期诗文、辞赋等"落"的使用状况,参照部分今人的研究观点,指出"落"字在该句中就是它的本义"零落"。
