Folk Athletics and the Development of Rural Cultural Industry——Taking Firecracker-Dragon Festival in Binyang County for Example

每年农历正月十一晚上举行的广西宾阳县炮龙节文化发展虽引起了社会的广泛关注,但仍存在产业化市场意识不强、专项法律规章缺少、城镇化水平低、基础设施落后、环境污染与安全隐患、专业人才缺乏等问题,为此,应挖掘舞炮龙文化的经济价值,着力打造舞炮龙狂欢节,形成地方文化品牌与产业链,产生大的经济效益。

The yearly Firecracker-Dragon Festival celebration held in Bin- yang County on the 11th evening of the first month in the lunar calendar has drawn widespread attention, yet there do exist some problems in the development of firecraker--dragon as a cultural industry. Those problems include inadequate awareness of cultural industry, lack of specific laws and regulations, low leveI of urbanization, backwardness of infrastructure, environmental pollution and hid- den dangers, and the lack of professionals. Therefore, it is necessary totap the economic potential of firecracker dragon culture, make Firecracker-Dragon Festi- val a carnival, a local cultural brandname and an industrial chain that can bring large economic profits.
