This paper deals with the design of blasting scheme,the selection of blasting parameters,the pretreatment of direction, defending measure and blasting effect according to the successful experience in demolishing a 110- meter high chimney of environmental protection and 120-meter high chimney melting in the first Tongling nonferrous metal smelting plant by using the directional controlled blasting technology. It will offer a referenced evidence for demolishing technology.
