菲尔兹奖青睐的数学猜想——庞加莱猜想及其历史进程

摘要自1904年庞加莱猜想提出后,百余年来,许多数学家为证明这一猜想付出了艰辛的努力,国际数学家大会上曾多次因几位数学家部分破解这个难题而获得菲尔兹奖。论文从历史背景、影响价值及其意义、曲折的证明过程、中国数学家对猜想的努力及作用等方面,阐述了庞加莱猜想的历史及其研究过程。
