There has not been any water meter suitable for low pressure pipe irrigation system up to now. In view of this we have developed the relation between center velocily of pipe and cross section mean velocity and with the help of sensing unit method developed the water meter of Type CGS. This kind of water meter was designed for low pressure pipe irrigation system specially. It is characterized by it's low price, high preciseness, needlessness of a. c. power sourse and being easy to use.
