当前我国构建社会主义和谐社会的时代特征和理论依据主要有:我国处于社会主义初级阶段的基本国情;在发展社会主义市场经济条件下构建社会主义和谐社会;将人与自然的和谐放在重要地位;在全面建设小康社会的总体布局下进行。

The characteristics of the times and the theoretical basis for China to build a harmonious society of socialism during these years are mainly shown in the following aspects： 1 ） the basic condition of China at the preliminary stage of socialism, 2） the fact that China is building a harmonious society of socialism while developing socialist market-oriented economy, 3） the idea that the harmony of man with nature should be highlighted, and 4） the fact that building is conducted under the overall concept that China should be built into a well-off society from all aspects.
