A remote fault diagnosis system for computer based on B/S model is introduced in this paper. First, the paper illustrates the frame type knowledge presentation of the fault tree applied in this system in detail. Next it designs the mixed reasoning mechanism based on rule- based positive and negative bidirectional reasoning and case- based reasoning. At last, it gives the operational principle and architectural structure of the system.
