This paper briefly expounds the general situation of independent scientific research institutions of Shanxi Province in 2007, and emphatically studies the situation of the personnel of sci-tech activity, the situation of sci-tech funds, the project investment intensity, the situation of R＆D input, the sci-tech research papers, and the sci-tech works and patents, etc.
