Vegetation plays the very important role in the soil erosion control, climate regulation, runoff mitigation and flood peak reduction. The essay analyzes the impacts of the different vegetation types to the rainfall runoff and sediment through the observation to the vegetation types of arbor, arbor mixed by shrub, and shrub respectively, providing the scientific basis for the application the biological measures in the soil erosion management
