Performance Analysis of Soft Handoff with Repeated Calls in WCDMA Networks

研究了WCDMA网中带有有限容量和以几何分布丢失的重试群时的软交换性能.把切换区域的用户数、非切换区域的用户数及重试群中的用户数通过Level Dependent QBD过程来模型化,并用矩阵分析的方法求出了它们的联合概率分布及各种有用的性能度量.

This paper investigates the performance of soft handoff in WCDMA network with the retrial group of finite capacity and geometric loss. We model the number of calls in handoff region, the number of calls in the non-handoff region and the number of calls in the retrial group by Level Dependent QBD process, find their joint distribution by matrix analytic method, and obtain several performance measures.
