摘要
光时分复用(OTDM)技术是实现超大容量传输的最有希望的途径之一。相对于日趋成熟的波分复用(WDM)技术,OTDM技术正面临机遇与挑战。本文综述了光时分复用技术的特点、关键技术、研究现状、发展趋势和应用前景。
Optical time division multiplexing (OTDM) technology is one of the most promising way to achieve ultrahigh bit rate transmission. It is facing more opportunities and challenges than the increasingly maturated wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology. This article gives a comprehensive review of the enabling technologies, characteristics, the state -of - the - art of the development and the prospect of OTDM system.
