Based on an investigation of agricultural mechanization development and the operation conditions of high and medium horsepower tractors from both domestic and abroad in the reclamation area in Heilongjiang Province, an analysis is made for the requirements and market changes for high and medium horsepower tractors in the area. Respective suggestions are proposed.
