The design and calculation method for formulating the regulations for selecting dies for drawing HSn70-1 tubes with low residual stress are introduced. It is also pointed out that according to the deformation parameter Kf, the linear regression formula of the stress is predicted or estimated. The concrete method described will help create conditions for avoiding annealing steps for other half hard alloy tubes. Therefore, it proves to be an innovation deserving trial use and introduction.
