摘要
双向转发检测(Bidirectional Forwarding Detection,BFD)是一种快速检测IP网络链路和通道连接性的新型机制。该技术为快速故障恢复奠定了基础,因而作为提高IP网络可靠性的关键技术之一得到了广泛的应用。本文对BFD技术的协议及其典型应用加以介绍,并对BFD技术与现有控制层面技术的配合使用案例进行了分析。
BFD （Bidirectional Forwarding Detection） is a novel mechanism for rapidly detecting the connectivity of links and paths in IP network. The technology is very important for fast restoration and protection, and it is widely used for improving the reliability of the IP network. The BFD protocol and its typical implementation solutions are presented, and the relationship between the BFD and the prior control plane technologies of the IP network are also analyzed in this paper.
