基于信息管理发展的图书馆员角色演变刍议

Preliminary Discussion Transition of the Role of Librarians——Based on Development of Information Management

信息环境的变化使图书馆员的角色发生了嬗变。文章以信息管理发展的3个阶段为基线,考察与梳理了图书馆员在相应阶段的角色定位,并清晰地勾勒出图书馆员由文献收藏保管者到文献分类整理者,再到信息资源管理者的演进历程,进而提出图书馆员的职业发展和努力的方向。

Changing information environment results in transition of the role of librarians. Ground on the three stages of information management, this paper reviews and trims the role orientation of librarians in the corresponding stages, thereupon outlines clearly evolvement courses of librarians, namely from document collector and storekeeper, document classification and coordination stuff, to information resources manager, and brings forward the aspects and directions of the librarian occupation development and striving toward.
