A Modified Approach for SWAN in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

摘要 SWAN模型应用于Ad Hoc网络后,通过NS2仿真表明网络实时业务的分组递交率、业务吞吐量等性能可提高15%左右,平均端到端时延减少90%,但网络非实时业务的性能除业务吞吐量有较大幅度的提高,分组递交率和时延性能均有所下降,为此提出了一种增强的无状态无线自组网速率控制方案:ESWAN。仿真表明ESWAN较SWAN而言不仅可以提高网络实时业务性能,而且网络非实时业务分组递交率可提高5%,时延减少38%。 When the Stateless Wireless Ad Hoc Networks (SWAN) is applied to mobile Ad Hoc networks, the results of simulation using ns - 2 simulator show that the performance of packet delivery ratio and throughput of real - time traffic is improved about 15% and that of average end to end delay decreases about 90%, while the performance of packet delivery ratio and average end to end delay of best - effort traffic degrade. In order to change this situation, a new rate control scheme named enhanced stateless wireless Ad Hoc networks (ESWAN) is presented. The results of simulation demonstrate that the ESWAN enhances the performance of not only real - time traffic but also the best - effort traffic compared with the SWAN, where the performance of the best - effort traffic of packet delivery ratio increases about 5% and that of average end to end delay decreases 38%.
