摘要
三维真实感是科学可视化、计算机动画和虚拟现实的技术核心,也是时空一体化地理信息系统的关键技术;而地形建模和可视化则是三维场景构造中的重要内容。简述三维地形实现过程和地形建模常规方法的基础之上,重点对OpenGL支持下的两类三维地形建模和实现技术进行了详细地论述,并对两类建模技术和不同的实现方法进行了分析和对比研究;最后,根据其性能对比及其各自的特点,给出了不同方法的适用场合,从而为地形建模和实现方法的选择提供依据和指导。
A 3D realistic image is the core technique of scientific visualization, computer animation, and virtual reality, also is an important technique of spatio - temporal GIS. And modeling of terrain and visualization are important parts of creating 3D scene. This article puts emphasis on two methods of terrain modeling and realization with OpenGL based on introducing the realizing process of 3D terrain and modeling of terrain. Also this article contrasts and analyses different ways of modeling technologies and realizing process. In the end, the article gives suitable application occasions for different methods, thus providing foundation and guidance for 3d terrain modeling and realization.
