公示语翻译规范化初探

A Tentative Study on the Standardization of the Translation of Public Signs

本文从公示语的分类与功能着手,引入有关国家(地区)语言政策的国际参照,尝试寻找对中国有益的公示语规范化策略。文章就公示语规范化提出了"三级区分"、立法以及"公示语及翻译咨询委员会"的建议,希望以此作为该领域研究的一种探索。

This article intends to make a tentative study on the standardization of the translation of public signs by way of classifying public signs and their functions with a special reference to the language policies in several countries（region）. By way of proposing standardization, this article classifies the public signs into three categories and suggests legislation and the establishment of a governing of a governing boby like public Signs Translation Council.
