The Expression of β-catenin in rectal carcinoma

摘要 目的探讨直肠癌组织中β-catenin的表达意义。方法应用免疫组织化学S-P法检测60例直肠组织和20例癌旁正常粘膜组织中β-catenin的表达。结果在20例正常组织中β-catenin均呈正常表达。直肠癌中β-catenin的异常表达率为66.7%,β-catenin的异常表达与性别、年龄、直肠癌的分化程度无关(P(0.05),与淋巴结转移密切相关(P(0.05)。结论β-catenin的异常表达在直肠癌的发生发展中可能起到重要的作用。 Objective To evaluate the expression of β-catenin in rectal carcinoma. Methods The ex- pression levels of β-catenin were detected in 60 cases with rectal carcinoma and 20 cases with normal paraneo- plastic rectal mucous tissues using immunohistoehemistry. Results β-eatenin was positively expressed in the normal cases . The abnormal expression rate was 66.7%, and did not correlate with gender , age, histological differentiation （ P 〉0.05 ）, but it correlated with lymphnode metastasis（ P 〈0.01 ）. Conclusion The abnormal expression of β-catenin may play an important role in the generation and development of colorectal carcinoma.
