An Interview on Celebrated Environmental Chemist——Academician Wang Wenxing

中国工程院王文兴院士是我国著名环境化学家,中国环境科学研究院的主要创建者和领导者.他从事科学研究56年,在大气环境化学、大气酸沉降、环境化学动力学和大气污染物来源与排放等多个学术领域都作出了卓越贡献.他连续承担国家"六五"至"九五"科技攻关项目,在环境化学,特别是在大气污染化学、酸沉降的观测和实验方面,取得了重大突破.多项研究成果荣获国家科技进步一等奖、二等奖、三等奖,以及省部级奖.王文兴院士德高望重,学识渊博,治学严谨,十分关心青年学子的学习和生活,几十年来,培养了一大批青年科学工作者,受到大家的敬仰和爱戴.2008年8月26日,笔者在中国环境科学研究院高庆先研究员的陪同下,就王院士的求学经历和治学精神等问题做了专题访谈.

Chinese Academy of Engineering academician -- Wang Wenxing is a well-known environmental chemist, and is one of the main founders and leaders for Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences （CRAES）. He has engaged in scientific research for 56 years and has made superexcellent contributions in atmospheric environmental chemistry, atmospheric acid deposition, environment chemical dynamics, atmospheric pollutions source and its emission, as well as other research filds. He was charged with national scientific and technological 5 years plan continually from ＂Sixth Five-Year Plan＂ to ＂Ninth Five-Year Plan＂. He contribute a major breakthrough in environmental chemistory, especially in air poiiution chemistory and acid deposition observation and experiment. His achivements have been awarded the first, second and third prizes of National Scientific and Technological Progress, as well as provincial and ministerial level awards. Wang Wenxing is a respectable, great learning and strictness academician in scientific studies, and he is very concerned about the young schorlars＇ research and living. He has cultivated a large number of young scientists and gained considerable admiration and love in decades＇ years. On August 26, 2008, the author made a special interview on academician Wang＇s educational experience and scholar spirit accompanied by researcher Gao Qingxian at Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences.
