The social contradictions and conflicts in the rural areas, which arise in the transformation from agricultural society to industrial society since the policy of reform and opening-up, are the ones caused by the interests between the peasants and the land-oriented emerging capitalists in the process of industrialization. The glorious political duty of the united front is to resolve the social contradictions and conflicts and promote the social development in the rural areas by keeping to the scientific concept of development. The basic mission consists in balancing relations, resolving contradictions, communicating circumstances, reflecting public opinions, striving for the support from the public, gathering the power, and creating the harmonious rural society.
