美育教育是素质教育中的重要组成部分,在人文教育和科学教育不断融合的今天,有其独特的地位与作用。通过对理工科教学状况的分析,说明美育本质上是一种创造性教育,美育是德育的有效途径之一,美育是智育的润滑剂和催化剂。阐述了对大学生进行美育教育的必要性。提出了通过兴趣的培养,丰富大学生的审美情趣教育和校园文化,美育与学科教学相融合,加强专业教师的艺术修养培养等美育教育途径。

Aesthetics education plays an important part in terms of high quality student education. Aesthetics education has a special position and status with the integration of humane education and science education. Based on the current analysis of science and technology education, the essence of aesthetics education is the creativity of education. Meanwhile, aesthetics education is an effective method of morality education. Aesthetics education is the grease and catalyst of morality education. The necessity of aesthetics education for the university students is discussed. By cultivating students＇ interest in aesthetics,the aesthetic feelings and school culture are improved a lot. By combining aesthetics education with other subjects＇ education and by strengthening the quality of teachers in aesthetics, aesthetics education in university of science and technology can be realized.
